Skeletal Sphinx

It once guarded the gates between worlds, asking riddles of those who dared pass. Long since slain, this articulated skeletal sphinx still stands its post. Headdress crowned, wings spread, long after the gates crumbled and the world forgot what it was guarding, its purpose is lost to all but itself.
