Forge Something
That Lives.

We embed NFC chips directly into your print during production. Tap any smartphone — no app required — to trigger a URL, command, or hidden content.

How It Works

01

Submit Your Design

Upload your file via the custom order form and select the NFC enchantment add-on. Tell us what URL or command the chip should trigger.

02

We Embed the Chip

During production, the NFC chip is placed inside the print at a pre-planned location. The chip is fully encased — invisible from the outside.

03

Tap to Enchant

Hold any NFC-enabled smartphone near the print. It opens your link instantly — no app, no setup, no pairing required.

Common Questions

Does every smartphone work?

Any iPhone 7 or newer and most Android phones with NFC support it. That covers the vast majority of phones in use today.

What's the read range?

Typically 1–4 cm. You hold the phone near the print — it doesn't activate at a distance, which prevents accidental triggers.

Can I reprogram the chip later?

Yes. Standard NFC chips are rewritable using any free NFC app (NFC Tools, etc.). The chip we use is NTAG213 by default — compatible with virtually all NFC apps.

Does the chip affect print quality?

No. The chip is placed during the print at a pre-planned layer. From the outside, the print looks and feels identical — the chip is completely encased.

What file types does the chip support?

Any NDEF record: URLs, plain text, vCards, WiFi credentials, phone numbers, custom app links. We program it with whatever you specify in the order.
